11 lbs of Topping Cement covers 1 sq ft to about 1 inch thickness.
Thoroughly clean the surface with a stiff brush and detergent. Flush with clean water and remove standing water (no puddles).
Mix the required amount of Topping Cement with enough water to achieve a heavy batter. Allow to sit for 5 minutes for proper chemical reaction. Mix again, adding water or material to regain desired consistency. Too much water will reduce the strength of the material.
Shallow Repairs (under 1/2 inch):Force a thin layer of SUPER BOND into the pores of the old Concrete to thinly cover the entire surface. Immediately spread more Super Bond to the desired thickness then level and finish with a dampened trowel or screed.
Deep Repairs (1/2 inches or more): Proceed as above to a 1/2 inch thickness. Allow to set for 24 hours. Keep adding 1/2 inch layers until required thickness is reached.
Under Normal Conditions: damp curing is not required. Surface should be protected from wind and direct sunlight. Temperatures should remain above 40ºF. Surface will be traffic bearing in 24 hours. Do not use outside bonding agents with this product.
