PRE-MIX CONCRETE

Parging Mix

Ideal for parging block or poured concrete. Easily trowels to a smooth finish.

SUGGESTED USES

One 30 kg (66lb) bag of Parging Mix will cover 4.65 m (50sqft) with a 3mm (1/8”) thickness.

Surface Preparation

Remove paint, grease, oil and other matter from the area to be resurfaced.
Sweep or scrub away all unsound concrete.
Flush off all residue with clean water.
Allow surface to remain damp with no standing water prior to application.

Mixing

Empty bag into wheelbarrow.
Add small amounts of clean water and mix thoroughly to desired consistency. *Do not exceed 5 litres (1 gal) per bag.

Application

With a mason’s trowel, scoop up mixture and apply over blocks or poured concrete wall to a maximum of 1 cm (3/8”) thick.
Go over fresh surface with a dampened trowel for a smooth finish or dampened paint brush for a slightly textured finish.

Do’s

Use in temperatures above 5°C (41°F).
Keep damp for 72 hours by fine misting occasionally with water.

Parging Mix contains Portland Cement. Direct contact may irritate eyes and skin. Wear protective clothing (gloves, boots and safety glasses) when using this product. Wash exposed areas promptly with water. If any material gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical attention immediately.

DO NOT TAKE INTERNALLY.

KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND PETS.

Clean up is easy with soap and water.

Rinse tools before material hardens.
